Abstinence Education

An abstinence consultant can visit your school, youth group, or civic group free of charge. Our abstinence

educators will work with you to fit the specific needs of your group, whether it is a one-time event or an

abstinence education series. We use two separate curricula, one school-board approved public school

curriculum and a scripturally-based youth group curriculum. Our curricula is available for your viewing.

Click here to email our office and schedule a meeting with our Abstinence Education Coordinator or to

schedule a group speaking engagement.

Parent Education

Parents--did you you know that you are the #1 influence on your child's view of sex? It's true. But parents

today are overwhelmed by the sexual pressures their children and teens face on a daily basis. Don't give

up hope, parents! We are here to help. We have counselors and resources available to help you establish

open communication with your child or teen about how sex can be a healthy part of their lives in the future.

Peer Counseling

We offer factual information, emotional and spiritual support and practical help to our clients.

Counselors are volunteers who have received training in crisis counseling.

Counseling services may be provided off the premises of the center at the discretion of the Executive

Director. Our volunteer counselors are not professional counselors and are not intended as a substitute

for professional counseling.

Pregnancy Tests

Tests are available to all clients, free of charge. We use the One Step hCG Urine Pregnancy Test

purchased through Global Medical Systems, Inc. Our tests are self-administered by the client with the

"witness" of a staff member or volunteer and are interpreted by the client.

Material Assistance

Material assistance is free and confidential.

The ACPC assures that all materials distributed are safe and fit their intended use.

Clients are required to sign an appropriate release prior to receiving material items.

Formula and diapers are available to clients on an emergency basis.

Every client receives a layette gift basket with items essential to the care of her newborn.

Clients are required to participate in the Creative Parenting Program to earn items needed for their babies

through age 5.

Creative Parenting

This program is designed to encourage an ongoing relationship and support for clients as well as to hold

clients accountable and to encourage them to become responsible parents.

Creative Parenting Class Schedule

Two classes are currently offered   10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and

3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

having a job, well-baby visits, attending church or bible study, inviting others to the program, etc.

Points are used to "purchase" items in the Mommy and Me Boutique at the center.

This program is currently supported through donations from local churches and individuals who provide

donated items for the boutique.
